Safeguarding

The leadership and trustees of Calvary Chapel Maidstone recognises the importance of its ministry to children, young people and vulnerable adults and its responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of these groups entrusted to the church’s care.

Calvary Chapel Maidstone has developed a safeguarding policy based on models and guidance published by Thirtyone:eight, an independent Christian charity specialising in protecting vulnerable people from abuse.

A copy of this policy is available upon request. This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis.

Nicola Bell is the Safeguarding Lead Officer for Calvary Chapel Maidstone.

Ian Fox is the Safeguarding Deputy Officer for Calvary Chapel Maidstone.

The safeguarding of vulnerable people is everybody’s responsibility at Calvary Chapel Maidstone and any concerns or questions should be raised to Nicola or a member of the elders at the very earliest opportunity.

If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to Nicola Bell.
